3 maanden VSA!

Hallo iedereen,

Het is alweer een hele tijd geleden dat ik nog iets geschreven heb. Maar ik heb zodanig veel te doen dat ik soms geen tijd vind om iets te schrijven. Ik heb ook mijn website die ik geregeld moet aanvullen. Sorry!

Met mij is alles inorde. Momenteel zit ik op school. Het is nu 10u20. Normaal gezien heb ik nu US History maar alle Sophormes hebben nu een of andere test. En aangezien ik in US History met allemaal Sophmores zit, heb ik nu geen les.

De eerste 3 maanden zijn snel gegaan. Ik heb helemaal het gevoel niet dat ik hier al 3 maanden ben. ik heb in die drie maanden al zoveel gedaan! In september had ik mijn eerste AFS-meeting. Ik zag er een beetje tegenop, maar al bij al is dat goed meegevallen. We waren daar met een 30-tal andere AFS studenten van heel de wereld. Het was alsof heel de wereld daar was. Er was 1 meisje van Belgie, maar ze was van Walonie. Maar ik moet zeggen het deed me goed om enkele mensen van mijn buurt (belgie, frankrijk, duitsland), rond mij te hebben. In oktober had ik dan mijn 18de verjaardag. mijn gastfamilie heeft zo hun best gedaan om het zo fantastisch mogelijk te maken. Ik had het een beetje moeilijk, maar ik heb me zeker geamuseerd. Ik hab vrienden uitgenodigd en Belgische gekookt, enfin het was tof! In oktober hadden we ook Krysta's confirmation. Krysta is mijn gastzus van 15. Ze had haar plechtige communie. Ik ben dan voor de eerste keer naar de kerk gegaan. ik verschoot me daar een ongeluk. Iedereen gaat hier naar de Kerk. Jong, oud, ziek, gezond... Ik dacht dat het enkel voor de plechtige communie was, dat er zoveel mensen waren, maar ze vertelde me dat het elke week zo is :s. Twee weken geleden was het Halloween. Halloween is hier echt groot en de mensen spenderen veeeeel geld aan halloween. zondag 31 oktober ben ik natuurlijk gaan Trick or treaten :)....dit is een amerikaanse ervaring rijker, dacht ik! Herfstvakantie hadden we niet, maar we hadden 2 dagen vakantie voor Halloween. kittrick, mijn oudste gastzus, wou een universiteit gaan bezoeken in Minnesota, een andere staat. We zijn daar dan enkele dagen gebleven. We zijn onder andere naar Minneapolis geweest, een toch wel iets grotere stad, emt verschillende wolkenkrabbers en naar THE MALL OF AMERIKA. Het grootste shoppingcenter van Amerika, en het is groot, het is reusachtig! In het shoppingcenter ehb je cinemazalen, een pretpark, legopark...en zoveel meer.

Volgende week spelen we de muscial GREASE met school en ik heb een klein rolletje. We hebben nu elke dag repetitie.

Binnen 2 weken is het Thanksgiving, dan heb ik nog eens een weekje vakantie....en daarna starten we de voorbereidingen voor Christmas....Ik heb dus goede vooruitzichten!
